Today my mom, Natey, and I went to The Christmas Tree Shop to buy Christmas presents. I bought my boss a porcelain portable coffee cup, and my mom a big candle holder and candle. I always take a long time to shop and Nate gets bored. He did something secretive today while we were there, though, and I'm very curious about it.
Nate and I were going to drive to UMASSD today to pick up my camera charger that he left in his room. I texted his roommate Taylor about when he could coordinate letting us into the room (since Nate gave back his key for break) and he was really nice and polite. I was a little surprised, but then I realized that I am always very friendly to him, too, the same way I was to Nate's roommate DJ last year. So then I started wondering why I am so friendly toward Nate's roommates, and I realized that it is at least partly an attempt to make them like Nate more, for dating a nice girl. It doesn't seem to be working though. I told Nate about how nice Taylor was to me and he said it's because he is flirting with me, because Taylor often acts like he thinks Nate isn't nice enough to me and if I were his girlfriend, he would treat me so much better, and also because Taylor likes flirting with all girls, regardless of whether or not he's interested in them. I sort of thought this before Nate said so. While I was waking up this morning, I looked at the cabinet in my dresser and the camera charger was there, so we didn't go.
I am working tomorrow and I am very excited about giving people their Christmas presents!
